Do I need $WITNESS to use the platform?+
No. Browsing, creating cases, submitting evidence and funding with SOL all work without the token.
What happens if a case isn't solved?+
It's marked Expired and community funders can claim refunds of their SOL or $WITNESS contributions.
Who gets paid when a case is solved?+
Every contributor whose evidence was verified useful, split by the significance of their contribution — not winner-takes-all.
Why can't 24-hour cases get the fee boost?+
The boost runs on 48-hour cycles, so shorter cases can't be fairly ranked. They can still receive community funding.
Does 'anchored on Solana' mean it's true?+
No. It proves the record hasn't been altered and when it was created — not that the claim is accurate.
Will WITNESS ever ask for my seed phrase?+
Never. Only wallet signatures are used.
